Um Elopement Wedding de tirar o fôlego

Quando a Tamirys entrou em contato comigo, ainda não existia um plano casamento feito.

Existia apenas uma ideia.

Ela e o Dustin moravam nos Estados Unidos e sonhavam em casar na Gruta do Poço Certo, em Alfredo Wagner.

Mas ainda não tinham data.

Nem fornecedores.

Nem planejamento.

Nossa primeira conversa aconteceu no fim de setembro.

Antes que ela terminasse, o casamento já tinha uma data marcada.

Faltavam pouco mais de dois meses.

E uma história inteira para construir.

Um casamento planejado em tempo recorde

Organizar um casamento normalmente leva muitos meses.

O da Tamirys e do Dustin nasceu em poucas semanas.

Foi um daqueles projetos que só acontecem porque muitas pessoas trabalham com o mesmo objetivo.

Cada fornecedor abraçou a ideia.

Cada etapa foi acontecendo quase ao mesmo tempo.

Pouco a pouco, o sonho começou a ganhar forma.

Até que chegou novembro.

E, com ele, um desafio que ninguém poderia controlar.

Quando adiar é a melhor decisão

Na semana do casamento, Santa Catarina enfrentava dias de chuva intensa.

O casal conseguiu chegar até a pousada próxima à gruta depois de enfrentar estradas difíceis e até alguns trechos em que o carro atolou.

Tudo indicava que aquele não seria o cenário que imaginávamos.

Ao mesmo tempo, a previsão mostrava algo animador.

No dia seguinte, faria sol.

A decisão parecia simples.

Na prática, não era.

Adiar significava reorganizar praticamente todo o casamento.

Celebrante.

Beleza.

Decoração.

Foto.

Filme.

Todos precisariam estar disponíveis novamente.

Depois de muitas conversas, encontramos uma forma de fazer isso acontecer.

Foi uma escolha construída em conjunto.

Pensando sempre no que seria melhor para eles.

Confiança também faz parte de um casamento

Infelizmente, eu já tinha outro compromisso no novo dia escolhido.

Foi uma daquelas situações que ninguém gostaria de viver.

Mas também foi quando percebi o tamanho da confiança que havíamos construído durante aqueles meses.

Minha equipe assumiu a cobertura do casamento.

Profissionais com quem trabalho há anos e em quem confio completamente.

Eles registraram cada momento com a mesma sensibilidade e o mesmo cuidado que sempre buscamos entregar.

E, olhando para esta galeria hoje, continuo acreditando que a decisão foi a correta.

Porque o mais importante era que a Tamirys e o Dustin tivessem o casamento que imaginaram.

E tiveram.

Uma semana depois

A história ainda reservava um último capítulo.

Alguns dias depois do casamento, a Tamirys e o Dustin passaram por Florianópolis.

Conseguimos encontrar um pequeno espaço na agenda para finalmente nos conhecermos pessoalmente.

Até então, todas as nossas conversas haviam acontecido à distância.

Na praia, fizemos algumas fotografias sem pressa.

Sem cronograma.

Sem chuva.

Sem ansiedade.

Foi apenas um encontro entre pessoas que já pareciam se conhecer havia muito tempo.

Aquelas imagens completam essa história de um jeito muito bonito.

Hoje, quando volto a este casamento, não penso primeiro na chuva.

Nem no adiamento.

Muito menos nos desafios da organização.

Penso na confiança.

Na coragem que a Tamirys e o Dustin tiveram para adaptar os planos quando perceberam que isso tornaria a experiência ainda melhor.

Às vezes, organizar um casamento também significa abrir espaço para o inesperado.

E descobrir que algumas histórias encontram o caminho certo justamente porque ninguém tentou controlar tudo.

When Tamirys first reached out to me, there wasn't a wedding yet.

There was only an idea.

She and Dustin were living in the United States and dreaming of getting married at Gruta do Poço Certo, a breathtaking cave hidden in the mountains of southern Brazil.

They didn't have a date.

They didn't have vendors.

They didn't have a plan.

Our first conversation happened at the end of September.

By the time we finished talking, they already had a wedding date.

Just over two months remained to bring an entire celebration to life.

Planning a wedding in record time

Most weddings take months — sometimes more than a year — to plan.

Tamirys and Dustin's came together in just a few weeks.

It was one of those projects that only becomes possible because an entire team embraces the same dream.

One by one, every vendor joined the journey.

Slowly, everything started falling into place.

Until November arrived.

And with it, something no one could control.

When postponing becomes the best decision

During the week of the wedding, southern Brazil was experiencing days of heavy rain.

Getting to the lodge near the cave wasn't easy.

The roads were muddy, the car got stuck more than once, and it quickly became clear that this wasn't the experience they had imagined.

At the same time, the forecast brought a little hope.

The following day promised sunshine.

The decision sounded simple.

In reality, it wasn't.

Postponing the wedding meant reorganizing almost every part of the day.

The officiant.

Hair and makeup.

Floral design.

Photography.

Videography.

Everyone would need to be available again.

After many conversations, we found a way to make it happen.

It was a decision made together, always keeping one thing in mind:

What would create the best experience for Tamirys and Dustin?

Trust is part of every wedding story

Unfortunately, I had another commitment on the new wedding date.

It was one of those situations no one hopes to face.

But it also reminded me how much trust had been built throughout those months of planning.

My photography and filmmaking team took over the wedding coverage.

Professionals I've worked alongside for years and trust completely.

They documented every moment with the same care, sensitivity, and attention that define our work.

Looking back at this gallery today, I still believe it was the right decision.

Because what mattered most wasn't who was holding the camera.

It was making sure Tamirys and Dustin could experience the wedding they had always dreamed of.

And they did.

One week later

The story still had one final chapter waiting.

A few days after the wedding, Tamirys and Dustin traveled through Florianópolis.

For the first time, we were finally able to meet in person.

Until then, every conversation we had shared had happened across screens and time zones.

We spent some time together on the beach, creating photographs without a timeline.

Without rain.

Without pressure.

Just an afternoon shared between people who already felt strangely familiar.

I like to think those images completed their story in a very special way.

Today, when I look back on this wedding, I don't think first about the rain.

Or the postponement.

Or even the challenges we faced while planning it.

I think about trust.

About the courage Tamirys and Dustin had to adapt their plans when they realized it would create an even better experience.

Sometimes, planning a wedding also means making room for the unexpected.

And discovering that some stories find their perfect ending precisely because no one tried to control every single detail.
